How to look after your linen products?

To maintain your linen products in good shape and keep them high-quality, get familiar with a few rules of linen maintenance. This article will share tips on how to iron, dry, and keep your linen items to provide them with long life.

Ironing the linen

We suggest ironing the linen products when they are still wet because linen is a sturdy material, and sometimes ironing can be challenging. It is better to iron with steam. You should iron the products on the wrong side to protect the linen surface from shining.

If the linen item is completely dry, we recommend lightly moistening it with water before ironing. Linen products get wrinkles quickly, but it is easy to iron them if you use the iron steamer.

However, wrinkles on linen items are considered a sign of authenticity and high–quality linen fabric. The maximum ironing temperature of linen is 200 °C.

Bleaching

White linen products can be bleached with various chlorine-free bleaches. We do not suggest bleaching coloured fabrics.

Drying

To prevent your linen items from creasing, do not spin the laundry before drying. In addition, you should avoid drying linen products in direct sunlight. To avoid shrinking the linen fabric, choose a lower drying temperature.

Storage

Linen items ought to be kept in a dry and well-ventilated room. Please do not store linen products in plastic bags or boxes. Instead, choose special bags for keeping the linen products.

Bear in mind that different linen products have other care instructions. You should closely follow them to keep your linen items in the best shape.
